NEWS: MOSH Bring El Salto To The Table

Hardcore metallers, MOSH, hailing from Azkoien – Peralta in Northern Spain, have landed a smashing single with “El Salto“. from their album “El Filo” out on Maldito Records.

El Salto” is a great energetic hardcore tune that just smashes in your earlobes while making you want to jump round in joy at the same time, enjoying the punishment your ears are taking. Its a fantastic blend of heavy hard hitting riffage, with ferocious screaming vocals, clear one moment rasping the next. The track is infectious, as it is as catchy as it is hard rocking. the melodies and rhythms are on point as is the chugging riffs. Hard, heavy, highly recommended.

MOSH emerged in May 2013 in a completely spontaneous manner, the result of the musical “need” of its members. After Barkatu Gabe and Arteria left their jobs, Gorka and Iñaki decided to start a new project. They found friendship and musical affinity in Bruntxo and Jorge (guitar and drums of Arai respectively) along with the passion to make it a reality. The last to join was Diego, bassist Zaunk.

The project quickly began to rock out under the name of MOSH with the first compositions of the group being metal-hardcore. The first 5 songs composed by the quintet were published in April 2014 in an EP entitled “With water in the neck” (recorded between the group’s own premises, the Zuloan studies of Azkoien and mixed in MAV studies of Zizur Nagusia by Miguel Aizpún , producer of Koma).

In February of 2015 the band recorded its first disc titled “Impune” in the Studies K of Iruña with the producer Alberto Porres (The Drugs, Txarrena, Dawn of the maya). It premiered for the first time on April 27 of the same year.

In August of 2017 the band was locked in the TMFS studios of Madrid (The Metal Factory Studio) with the renowned producer Álex Cappa (Vita Imana, Hamlet, Dawn Of The Maya) to record its second full length entitled “The edge” (Maldito Records).

To date, Mosh has shared the stage with bands such as Flitter  and Habeas Corpus, in addition to having the voice of Juan Sangre (GOVERNORS) on the song “Erribera maitea”, which was specially composed to participate in the Euskaldún compilation “Euskaraz bizi eta ikasi. “
