SINGLES: BLUEANIMAL Shows Us Their Hollow Heart

Blueanimal is an indie rock band out of Orlando, Fl. who have released their second album Hollow Heart. Their influences are quite varied from Grunge rock such as Soundgarden and Nirvana to bands like Foo Fighters and Drive-by Truckers and even some blues and red dirt country as well.  Their single is the title track “Hollow Heart

Hollow Heart” is a great track that really does give you a Foo Fighter vibe. The wall of sound is full of a hard beat, rolling bass and harmonic riffs. The vocals keeps a hard edge to the track whilst pulling you on through the song. This single is a catchy tune that will keep going round in your head. Definitely worth picking up.

Luke and Matt started Blueanimal in 2011 as a duo that played around Orlando. They played mostly originals that were in the Rock/Americana/Red Dirt Country genres.

After the release of their first album “Hippies & Beauty Queens” in 2015 they added Ry and Aaron as lead guitarist and drummer respectively.

The band settled into the Rock genre and will release a new album “Hollow Heart” in 2018 and a darker rock concept album “The Mind is a Scary Place” in 2019.

The band is compromised of a lead singer/songwriter who is a general surgeon, a bass player who is a trauma surgeon, a drummer who is a music studio engineer and college professor, and a professional guitar player/song writer who bring many diverse influences and perspectives to the music.
