The Catan Irish Cup
Enjoy playing Catan? Then this could be the event for you.
The Catan Irish Cup will consist of 28 players. The top 16 players will then go through to the finals based on wins and points and the bottom 12 players will go into a seperate cup. This is to make sure everyone plays a minimum of at least 2 games with some luck. Check out the event on Facebook
It will take place on 27 January at 12:00–18:00 in Hedigans ‘The Brian Boru’ 5 Prospect Road, Glasnevin, Dublin, Ireland Dublin 9
Only the first 28 people to buy tickets through eventbrite will be able to take part. This is a ‘First come first served’ event with limited spaces.

In the run up to the National, European, and international Tournament the Irish Catan Association are proud to host the first Irish Catan Cup.

What is the Catan Irish National Championship?
Every year players from around the country compete in local qualifying tournaments. The winners of each of the tournaments are sent to the Catan Ireland Championship. In 2018, the Championship will be held in Dublin at the Clockwork Door. Players will face off against all other winners of the Qualifier tournaments to become the year’s Catan Ireland Champion. Every two years the Champions are sent to the Catan World Championship tournament. The 2018 World Catan Championship will be held late Autumn in Germany.
