NEWS: Sliptrick Records Welcome Heavy Rock Group THE SAME RIVER

The Same River is a Heavy Rock/Psychedelic rock band from Athens, Greece founded by Diamond Pr (Cyanna Mercury) and Dimitris Georgopoulos (Cyanna Mercury, Deaf Radio) in August of 2019. After two months, the band was completed by Fivos Katsifloros (One Man Drop) and Theodore Ntilgeris (The Great Black Shark). From the very first day The Same River focused on writing songs that can deliver their vision of this world; a lust for life and passion for making music.

In short the band is “four guys creating music, opposing the cruelty of this world with riffs and melodies. The Same River never step twice in the waters of our fears and they’re trying to create something soulful without looking back.”

After lots of sweat and tears, the groups four song debut was complete. An EP, recorded and mixed live, just to keep it’s true and raw feeling. Through the mist of the pandemic, Live At The Blackbox introduced The Same River to the world in March of 2020. Despite the difficulties and the lack of live performances, the reviews were overwhelming and gave them the strength and inspiration to complete their first full length album, Weight Of The World, set for release via Sliptrick Records in 2022.
