NEWS: High Visions To Drop Latest EP “Passerby” on 17 August 2018

UK punk trio High Visions are releasing their sophomore effort, titled “Passerby,” in August 2018. The EP fuses influences from early 2000s pop punk and hardcore with elements of newer, emo-tinged pop punk for a mixed crowd of musicians and fans in the genre.

Recorded in The Ranch in Southampton (frequented by Creeper and Boston Manor), the EP tackles themes of mental health, abuse, and self-improvement from a unique perspective.

This past year has been tough for us, and the songs on this EP reflect some of the hard times we’ve faced both as a band and as people. Music has always served as an outlet for us, and we’re hoping that by sharing our craft with you we may be able to help other people who have been through similar situations.

“Passerby” will be released on August 17th.

Track List:

  1. I Miss You (But My Aim’s Improving)
  2. Three Years Away
  3. Grave Mistake
  4. Duluth
  5. Shit Out of Luck
  6. Coffee Shop Thoughts

About High Visions:

Formed in early 2015 in Leeds, UK, by members of other projects, High Visions are an

energetic pop punk trio focused on bridging the gap between the modern pop punk sounds of Neck Deep and Trash Boat with the blistering skate punk of the early 2000’s. The three-piece released their debut EP, Waving the White Flag, in the summer of 2017. A year later, they wrote and recorded their sophomore effort, Passerby, set for a June 2018 release, along with a subsequent tour around the country to support it. Having played with acts such as THECITYISOURS, Luke Rainsford and Allusondrugs, High Visions are not a name to miss out on.

Combining bombastic double-time beats, catchy choruses, an explosive live show and a DIY attitude, High Visions are the hybrid pop-meets-skate-punk band you never knew you were waiting for.

High Visions is:

  • Louis Flynn – guitar, vocals
  • Zyggy – bass, vocals
  • Alex Fell – drums
