NEWS: ANCHOR LANE Score Top 10 Album On Official Rock & Metal Chart

ANCHOR LANE’s album debut ‘Casino’ went straight into the Official UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart at Number 9, scoring the band their first Top 10. Compiled by the Official Charts Company, the Official Rock & Metal Chart celebrates the UK’s biggest rock and metal albums of the week, based on sales of digital bundles, CDs and vinyl. ‘Casino’ also reached Top 20 in the Official Scottish Albums Chart and Top 50 in the Official UK Independent Albums Chart.

Frontman Conor Gaffney said, “This is everything we could have hoped for with the release of our debut album, we’re over the moon.”

Drummer Scott Hanlon added, “It’s testament to our fans who are so supportive. We’re really grateful that all of the hard work and love we put into ‘Casino’ has been recognised. We’re very proud of it.”

Anchor Lane came to the public’s attention with the release of their EP New Beginning. They toured incessantly scoring notable guest spots with Cheap Trick, Eagles of Death Metal and Tremonti. The band have garnered an impressive reputation as a thrilling and dynamic live act and have notched up significant appearances at renowned festivals such as Download, Isle of Wight, Stone Free, Belladrum and Hard Rock Hell.
