Belfast readies itself for Operation Mindcrime

This coming Friday 12th January none other than the legendary Geoff Tate and his band Operation: Mindcrime are coming to Belfast’s Empire

Geoff Tate’s Operation: Mindcrime is alo being supported by Till Death do us Part and our very own Conjuring Fate

Operation Mindcrime is a progressive metal band that is fronted by the former lead singer of Queensrÿche, Geoff Tate. Various musicians have contributed to the band, both live and in studio and it features members such as John Moyer (also known for being in Disturbed) and Simon Wright (also known for his work with AC/DC and Ronnie James Dio). The group signed a worldwide deal in December 2014 with Frontiers Music Srl for its coming releases. Their debut album, ‘The Key’, which is part one of a trilogy, was released in September, 2015. The second, ‘Resurrection’, was released in September, 2016. The third and final album of the trilogy, ‘The New Reality’, was released in December, 2017.

Till Death Do us Part was founded in 2016 when American singer, Emily Tate teamed up with Scottish musician, Kieran Robertson to create a new type of synthetic heavy rock. Emily’s dark and somber lyrics paired easily with the emotional musical creations of Kieran. The two later added Bassist, Jack Ross (Glasgow) and Drumer, Lee Reston (Glasgow,) who both added to the live energy and stage excitement they feel is missing from the music industry today, and named the band “Till Death Do Us Part.” The band quickly developed a unique signature sound using heavy distorted guitars, a djent like bass tone, various different synth layers, samplers, soundscapes, powerful drums and beautiful vocals.

Conjuring Fate are a heavy metal band from Co.Antrim, Northern Ireland. Formed by founding member Phil Horner in 2005 alongside vocalist Tommy Daly. This has been the core of the band since the beginning.  There have been various lineups and other projects over the years but they are now back with a full new lineup as of 2014. They have supported such acts as Blaze Bayley (ex Iron Maiden, Wolfsbane), Pat McManus (Mamas Boys), Argus (U.S Metal band), Voodoo Six, Sweet Savage, among many many others. 2014 saw the release of the ‘House On Haunted Hill E.P’.
