Steel Panther rolling into Belfast

Friday 19 January, none other than Steel Panther, purveyors of comedic glam metal and mostly known for their profane, humorous lyrics, and exaggerated on-stage personae parodying 1980s “glam metal”, Lower the Bar in Belfast’s Limelight. Their tour is being duly supported by Inglorious and Wayward Sons, Toby Jepson’s new band.

The Sunset Strip band will be joined by Inglorious and Wayward Sons at Dublin Academy, the Limelight in Belfast, the O2 Academy Glasgow, Manchester’s O2 Apollo and the Eventim Apollo in London between January 18 and 26, before heading across mainland Europe.

The Lower The Bar Tour shares its name with the band’s fourth album, which was released in March.

Tickets sold out for the Limelight appearance in about 20 minutes when they went on sale in October 2017. This gig is going to be packed! There will be a review in the aftermath.
