NEWS: TAKATAK Release “Fault Lines” From New Album “Acrophase”

Progressive Metal/Djent BAND TAKATAK from Lahore, Pakistan, featuring two of the most cutting edge guitarists from India & Pakistan – Keshav Dhar (Skyharbor, White Moth Black Butterfly) and Shamsher Rana (Roots, Wisdom Salad), release “Fault Lines“, their 3rd track from new full length – “Acrophase“. This is the first time Takatak has featured clean vocals in any of their songs.

Recorded at A for Aleph, Mixed by Keshav Dhar – Illusion Audio, Mastered by Ermin Hamidovic – Systematic Productions.

For the last eight years, TAKATAK has been flying under the radar. It takes its name from Lahore’s famous meat dish Kata Kat prepared with large meat cleavers slicing on burning griddles. The loud noise it creates, kata kat kata kat, is the kind of noise this talented metal band make to grab your attention.

TAKATAK draws its inspirations from the American band, the Veil of Maya, while locally they are fans of the music produced by Sikandar ka Mandar.
