NEWS: RAMMSTEIN Are Back With “Deutschland”
After 10 years, RAMMSTEIN is officially back! Their new video “Deutschland“, the first from their new album, has just dropped. The album, as yet untitled, is due 17 May 2019.
Deutschland is a definite Rammstein trademark song combining their classic heavy industrial style with a much more modern developed sound. In a wonderful hat-tip to their own discography, the first two words of the song are “du hast”. The song is a dark lyrical journey highlighting a love-hate relationship with Germany’s history. The video was shot in six locations in and around Berlin, including the former East-German Stasi prison in Keibelstrasse, the Chorin monastery, the Spandau citadel and the former Rüdersdorf cement factory.
