NEWS: Lilith and The Knight Raise a ‘War Cry’ With Their Latest Single

LILITH AND THE KNIGHT are one of the most visually immersing bands on the UK scene at the moment. Adding to Lilith’s enthralling vocals and infectious hooks, LILITH AND THE KNIGHT showcase a technical trio who possess the ability to scorch any horizon in front of them. This enterprising quartet have a singled minded purpose: to push guitar music into the next generation of its evolution.
They undoubtedly have the perfect ammunition in the form of their new single, War Cry, which lands on Friday 30th November, via Animal Farm.

With an array of influences stemming from Slipknot and Black Sabbath, through to The Beatles, LILITH AND THE KNIGHT hurl out a potent amalgamation of engrossing hard rock built on a hot-bed of driving riffery and pummeling beats. Their new single, War Cry, is a powerful statement about how politicians send their people to fight wars and die “for their country“, while these same politicians sit behind the safety of their desks. The blood of millions covers their hands. In the words of Wilfred Owen, “The Old Lie: dulce et decorum est pro patria mori”.
Formed in 2015, the band have toured the length and breadth of the country, self-releasing demos and videos to a growing army of fans. Their debut single, Wake Up, was playlisted on Total Rock Radio for over six weeks and racked up numerous reviews. Their follow up singles, Fallen and Rain Dance, further cemented the band as an emerging force, both securing radio airplay and expansive critical acclaim.  On the touring front, LATK have played over a hundred shows throughout 2018, and have further dates lined up for the remainder of the year and into 2019.
