NEWS: ENEMY INSIDE New Album “Venom” Out Now
Hailing from Aschaffenburg, Germany, the band—fronted by the dynamic Nastassja Giulia alongside guitarists Evan K and Dave Hadarik, and bassist Dominik Stotzem—has carved out a distinctive identity in the genre.
Their new album, Venom, is out now via Reigning Phoenix Music and marks a defining moment in their evolution, blending haunting melodies, pop hooks, and crushing breakdowns into a sound that is uniquely their own.
The title track, “Venom,” exemplifies this growth, seamlessly integrating industrial-inspired modern elements with ferocious metalcore energy. “We feel that we have really arrived in our sound now,” says Nastassja, reflecting on the band’s artistic journey.
Tracks like “Sayonara” address online criticism with defiance and energy, delivering a hard-hitting metalcore anthem fused with infectious hooks. Meanwhile, “Should Have Known Better” showcases their knack for combining explosive guitars with irresistible pop sensibilities.
The melancholic ballad “What We Used to Be” evokes the atmospheric depth of HOLDING ABSENCE and PARAMORE, while “Fuck That Party” features Zak Tell of CLAWFINGER, smashing genre boundaries with electrifying synths and driving beats.
Enemy Inside first burst onto the scene with their debut album, Phoenix, in 2018. The breakout single, “Phoenix” became their biggest hit, amassing nearly 7 million Spotify streams and propelling the album to over 25.6 million streams in total.
Their follow-up,Seven (2021), delivered hits like “Crystallize” and “Release Me” solidifying their reputation as one of modern metal’s most exciting new voices. With tours across Europe and standout performances at major festivals such as Wacken Open Air, M’era Luna, and Full Metal Cruise, they’ve built a loyal and ever-growing fanbase.
Venom is packed with powerful songs that push boundaries while staying true to the band’s roots. “Dirt On My Name” featuring Mirza Radonjica of SIAMESE, explores R&B and deathcore influences for a fresh edge, while “I’d Rather Be Dead” blends darkwave synths with melancholic riffs.
The explosive closer “Let Me Go” steps away from metal into polished alternative rock, highlighting the band’s versatility.
With Nastassja’s declaration, “We wanted to keep our catchy melodies while incorporating more breakdowns and harsh vocals, but also not set ourselves any stylistic limits,” it’s clear the album reflects the band’s desire for creative freedom.

Since their debut, Enemy Inside has defied expectations, drawing inspiration from bands like BRING ME THE HORIZON, BAD OMENS, and ELECTRIC CALLBOY. Their fearless experimentation is evident in tracks like “Sayonara,” which boldly addresses comparisons to other bands and challenges stereotypes, and “Fuck That Party,” which combines genre-defying collaborations with electrifying beats.
With Venom, Enemy Inside cements their reputation as one of the most innovative young bands in modern metal. Their February and March 2025 headline tour promises to bring the album’s electrifying energy to the stage. As they continue to defy conventions and break boundaries, Enemy Inside proves that their sound is as fearless and evolving as their vision, captivating fans across genres while staying true to their artistic identity.
