Following their 2018 debut “Salvation“, DODENGOD returns with a vengeance, delivering ten tracks of unrelenting darkness, seamlessly fusing Death and Black Metal with haunting Doom-infused atmospheres.
“Heralds of a Dying Age” marks a shift from the industrial elements of its predecessor, embracing a rawer, more traditional sonic assault, one that is both crushingly heavy and eerily hypnotic.
Fully recorded and mixed by the band itself, the album showcases the razor-sharp riffs of YvS (guitars, bass), the venomous vocal incantations of SVN, and the ferocious drumming of Barduk, who joined in 2021, adding a new dimension of intensity and organic brutality to the band’s sound.
