IRON MAIDEN will return to Northern Ireland next year to headline Belfast’s Belsonic in Ormeau Park on Monday June 15th for what will be one of only two homecoming UK festival shows in 2020. They’ve spent the summer on their historic and critically acclaimed Legacy Of The Beast North American tour, based on their award winning mobile game of the same name, which has been deemed by fans and national and rock media alike as ‘Maiden’s most monumental show and best setlist ever’. With over 90 million album sales, more than 2000 live performances in 63 countries, tens of millions of fans and 16 studio albums of unerring quality and power to their name, Iron Maiden have more than earned their proudly-held status as one of the most influential and revered bands of all time. The band continue to traverse the globe, continually pushing boundaries, visiting new places and returning to cities not played in decades. Sure to be history in the making it’s more than mere proof that the fearsome tenacity that first propelled Iron Maiden into the stratosphere all those years ago is still there. It’s cast-iron confirmation of the heroic, indefatigable qualities that have given Iron Maiden such enduring, universal appeal.

Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson says, “Next year we will play a number of countries and cities we have yet to visit on this incredible tour. It’s great to be returning to Belfast, this time for a Festival date, and we will certainly go to town and add a few extra items to the show.”

ALTER BRIDGE is an American rock band from Orlando, Florida. The band was formed in 2004 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Myles Kennedy, lead guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips. After their former band Creed became inactive in 2003, Tremonti and Phillips formed a new band with former bandmate Marshall and new member Kennedy; Alter Bridge was formally unveiled in January 2004, months before Creed’s official breakup in June.

After signing with Wind-up Records, Alter Bridge released its debut album One Day Remains in August 2004, much of which was written by Tremonti the previous year. The album reached No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and, despite mixed reviews, was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America in November 2004. This was followed in October 2007 by the more positively reviewed Blackbird, which marked the beginning of a long partnership between the band and producer Michael Baskette. The album reached No. 13 in the U.S. and was certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry.

Following continued activities with the members’ other bands and side projects, Alter Bridge released AB III in October 2010, which achieved critical acclaim and commercial success on Roadrunner Records, with the album’s lead single “Isolation” topping the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Alter Bridge released Fortress to further acclaim in September 2013, as the band’s members continued splitting their time between various projects. The Last Hero followed on Napalm Records in October 2016, becoming the band’s first album since its debut to reach the top ten of the Billboard 200, and its first to reach the top five of the UK Albums Chart. Alter Bridge’s sixth studio album, Walk the Sky, was released in October 2019.

AIRBOURNE are an Australian hard rock band formed in Warrnambool in 2003. Mainstay members are Joel O’Keeffe on lead vocals and lead guitar, and his brother Ryan O’Keeffe on drums. They were later joined by Justin Street on bass guitar and backing vocals. David Roads (on rhythm guitar and backing vocals) was also a mainstay member until leaving the band in April 2017 – Harri Harrison was announced as his replacement. Their debut album, Runnin’ Wild, was released in June 2007 and peaked in the top 30 on the ARIA Albums Chart. It appeared on the United Kingdom Albums Chart and United States Billboard 200. By August 2013, it was certified with Silver award by BPI.[1] Their second album, No Guts. No Glory. was issued in March 2010 and reached the top 20 on the ARIA Chart, top 40 in the UK and also appeared on the Billboard 200. Their third studio album Black Dog Barking was released on 21 May 2013. In October 2016, Airbourne released their fourth album, titled Breakin’ Outta Hell. Boneshaker is the band’s fifth album, and was released on 25 October 2019.

In the few years since their formation, Tempt have created a style, verve, vibe and quality that is of their own making. Here is what we have all craved and desired for so long. Namely, a band for the modern era who do not pander to trends. Nor are they dependent on their influences. No, here are four talents who meld and merge into something that is far more than the sum of those considerable parts.

TEMPT are vocalist Zach Allen, guitarist Harrison Marcello, bassist Chris Gooden and drummer Nick Burrows. Aside from Burrows, who comes from Windsor, Ontario, they all hail from New York. But in a way, their geographical location is irrelevant. Because what they have is a sound that appeals to a global community.

Their songs are sparklingly melodic. One listen and they stay firmly in the mind. Like so many greats from the ’70s and ’80s, what Tempt have already mastered is the ability to write and perform tunes which have an articulate simplicity, thereby ensuring the material is instant and memorable. However, what they also have is fluent, fluid and vibrant musicianship. And this has attained the highest possible level. But crucially, what Tempt do is tailor their virtuosity to ensure it always enhances the compositional structure. There are no outrageous solo excursions done for their own sake.
