NEWS: Adeptus Titanicus Pre-Order Coming This Weekend

This Weekend, you will be able to pre-order from Games Workshop the brand-new incarnation of Adeptus Titanicus, which is based around combat between Battle Titans, the mightiest war machines in the Imperium of Man. It’s set during the Horus Heresy, where brother battles brother for the fate of Mankind.

Many a grognard will know of this theatre of war, as Adeptus Titanicus was first born in 1988 and led the charge for the ‘Epic’ range of miniature gaming. During the ‘Dark’ period of GW it was shelved with only Forge World still producing the odd piece for it. But now under the Renaissance of GW, big stompy robots have returned!!

In Adeptus Titanicus, you are the Princeps Seniores of a Titan maniple, taking control of a number of war engines and interfacing with your models via unique Command Terminals. The game is designed to make you feel like the commander, issuing orders and directing your God-Machines to grind down the enemy, popping void shields and damaging their systems before making a definitive killing blow.

As you take the fight to your foes, you must manage the systems of your Titans, from their plasma reactors and void shields to a variety of potent weaponry – but be careful, because if you push your reactor too hard, there will be consequences.

The Grand Master Edition is your one-stop shop for getting stuck in with Adeptus Titanicus, containing ALL the new releases in one great bundle. Split a set with a friend and you’ll have a Warlord Titan and a lance of Knights each to battle with – collect one for yourself, and you’ll have a solid core for your own Legio which can easily be expanded in future.

If you’re not ready to make the jump to getting the Grand Master Edition (or you’re splitting the set with a friend) then the Rules Set is ideal. This boxed set is more than just a rulebook, containing command terminals, weapon cards, tokens and markers to track your games, tactical assets, measurers and loads of dice. In short – all the accessories you’ll need to play your games of Adeptus Titanicus in one handy package.

On release, you’ll be able to reinforce your Titan Maniple (or just revel in the joy of owning a Warlord Titan) with a new plastic kit designed for Adeptus Titanicus.
