GARY MOORE Memorial Show – Statue Fundraiser

Eric Bell Trio the Belfast guitar legend who needs no introduction. Thin LIzzy founding guitarist with some surprise songs for you from his new 50th anniversary tour of the band he formed in Dublin called Thin Lizzy. Including Eric’s own very special “Song for Gary”

Patricia Moore Band feat. rhythm master extraordinaire Jimmy Howlett (UK) on drums, Albert on Guitar, Frank on bass and Sharon on keys. Patricia is an incredible talent in her own right, blues/folk/rock artist with a powerful and deep soulful voice. Patricia will sing Garys songs plus classic blues which inspired him, along with some of her own original songs she will sing especially for her dear brother Gary. Prepare to be captivated.

Sam Davidson’s Taste – well known Belfast Rory Gallagher tribute band and festival favourite will open the show at 8pm with a mix of Gary’s songs, some of Rory’s songs, and some of the classic blues which inspired his blues years. Rory Gallagher was one of Gary’s favourite guitarists.

Gerry Quigley & The Nomadic Druids
After 30 years in Perth, Western Australia, Dublin guitarist/composer Gerry Quigley is now back home in Ireland. The Nomadic Druids experience will take you on a musical journey, a journey which at times could take you away to another world. Original instrumental progressive rock, with a celtic twist, with surprise Gary Moore tracks where you least expect, for this very special show, prepare to be captivated!

Gig for Gary are delighted to be launching the fundraising for a Gary Moore statue in his hometown of Belfast with this blues/rock spectactular.

We are playing this gig for Gary as if he is right there in the room with us, a showcase of favourite Gary Moore tunes, along with some rockin classic blues which inspired Gary plus a great selection of blues/rock/prog originals!
