The Mannerly Hoods
A two member outfit consisting of Ryan Bennett and David McMaster. Based in Belfast these two boys have been writing together for the guts of 10 years with popular indie band ‘The Late Twos’.
Half way through 2017 they decided to write some homegrown alternative indie tracks to unleash on the world themselves. The guitars are loud, the bass is shaking and the drums are driven, glue that together with uncomprimising lyrics and an urge to say “please” and “thank you” we give you… The Mannerly Hoods.
Dyad
HAPPY METAL GEEK says of their single “Bad Habits:
“Its a whole mixture of grungy stoner rock with a chunky thick guitar sound that just rolls backward and forward, up and down, as the rhythm trudges onward with purpose with a small slow down to catch its breath before picking up the pace again. It starts off with a wonderful reverberating rhythm before kicking into a fuzzy rumbling groove with vocals sounding like a very young Kurt Cobain.”
Psyphony
Psyphony are a 4-piece Indie Rock band originated from Co. Armagh. Influenced by bands such as Biffy Clyro, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Blossoms and Queens of the Stone Age. Only recently formed, Pysphony are full of energy and play their lyrically deep songs in a style that will have you singing along. They are currently planning their debut single release for later in the year, but they have no shortage of material for you to get your hands on to keep you entertained.
